"Commission 001"

This is my first "real" commission, you might say. I've drawn things for people all my life, and never been paid for it. This was no exception. However, it was the first time I've bothered to respond to one as a result of being contacted through this site, so I figured, "Why not?"

If you've looked through the site, you'll recognize these two. The one on the left is based off of my unfinished BioDerm sketch, while the one on the right is based off of Virsai, one of my very first concepts. In reality, for me, both are actually the same character. I've had the idea for a mouthless, noseless alien-like creature like this for a long time but I've never nailed down the final design. The "commissioner" wanted the designs redrawn to these specifications, and about three months later, I finally pushed myself to finish it. Hurrah.
