"VG Aeris"

This is a little sketch I did of Aeris (not Aerith) from VG Cats.

Not much to say here. She's not my idea, but I do like the comic. I originally was going to draw her a lot more realistically, like I do with most of my drawings. Well, not realistic, but a sort of comic book-like reality. That didn't work out, however, as I found the image boring and any pose I tried seemed rather bland given the actual character, so I just decided to make her stand there. One thing led to another, and she ended up a good deal like you might see her in the actual comic, albeit less... chibi, I suppose.

She's never worn this outfit in the comic, obviously. In the comic she changes outfits on a sort of regular basis, not sure why. I guess Scott gets tired of doing the same thing? In any case, I appreciate the changes, it makes things interesting. So, I decided to just start adding things. I originally was going to copy an existing outfit, but decided to just modify some pieces. So, I used Aeris' (FF7) jacket, started on a dress, erased it, got rid of the details on the jacket, and added some pants. I only used pants because I can't draw hands resting on hips worth a crap.
