"Species Head"

This is the head from a massive species that inhabits Nahala. Literally and figuratively. The actual prime creature of its people is this creature. Erebus, which I have yet to effectively redesign, is a female member of this species of creatures (albeit an archform of them, like Reklaw is an archform of humanity.) The image here is of a male of the species.

I have had this image in my head for a long while but have been unable to draw the entire body due to the necessary details and just how incredibly large this thing is. The details may end up being different in some far away final draft, but the genuine shape and character is still there.

Some credit goes to the Bahamut design in Advent Children, mainly for its influence on how the skull deforms around the mouth, which I was having a hard time understanding at the time.
