"Harbinger 2"

Ah, the Harbinger. Remember the Seeker from Starsiege? I'm sure you do, and that's pretty much what the Harbinger is, or was. Well, is again. My old Harbinger was so radically different from the old Seeker design (for something directly based on it anyway) that when it was put into 2845, I suppose it was decided it needed a new name to distance itself from the Seeker. However, I didn't like the old Harbinger design. I originally designed it as a sort of joke to a certain someone known for piloting Seekers into other people with explosive results. It wasn't making the cut to 2845, and he was sad, and it was my gift to him. Surprisingly, it made it in.

When all the Cybrid designs started being remodeled, I felt it was time to update the design, so here it is. It took five days and a lot of erasing, and a lot of input from total strangers.

The hardest part to draw, surprisingly, were the legs. I redrew them eight times, either for positioning (which I never did right) or details (which I almost got right). The most accurate image in this concept is the thumbnail image of the left side. That's what the head and legs and body position are meant to look like. The most difficult to notice detail of the entire design is the weapon pylon shape. They actually curve outward from the body at first, slightly up and to the rear and then shoot straight up and to the sides. If you can actually make out the direction, then congratulations.
