"Guild Wars Armors"
Amazingly, I somehow fit every profession in the game (Chapter 1) onto one sheet of paper. I had to invent positions to wedge each character into position. The Ranger got the short end of the stick as the last character I drew, and had the least amount of room to put detail on. I started with the Warrior, then the Necromancer, because I had the desire to draw them, and then went from there. Some of the armors don't exactly fit the profession, but I was quickly running out of patience, as I had to redraw characters several times to get them in a pose that fit and showed off the actual designs. This is the first bit of work I have done on this site that was not wholly my own idea and was not part of Starsiege or its universe. Ironically, or coincidentally (I forget which is technically the correct usage), I don't care for Guild Wars. Go figure. Perhaps it's simply the freedom of expression that keeps me away from other resources. Starsiege is fairly open-ended for me since how I like to design is so similar to how Cybrids are designed. Guild Wars was an exception here just because the armors in the game are usually dull and uninspiring. |
