"Cybrid Buggy"

My initial design for the third Starsiege: 2845 contest ("Design a Buggy"). This was almost a Sketch item, considering the many 3d perspective errors I left on the design, especially the wheels. My original idea was for a small forward suspension area, not the large pylons it has on this concept. I eventually decided what I was aiming for wasn't working for me, since I like my buggies low to the ground, wide and somewhat heavy looking.

The wheels were fun to try ot figure out, considering that Cybrids have never used wheels on their contemporary designs. The result of necesarry equivilency, the submitters to the contest basically had to invent the wheel.

Obvious other issues I had with the design was that it would be a high poly design due to the many bulges and itinerations, along with the many indentions on the wheels. It also wasn't drawn in a very good perspective, since you can't see most of the details. One may completely miss the smaller joint piece behind the main pylons.

It may not be noticeable, as you can only see it on the side thumbnail, but the Cybrid "glowing panels" seen on some 2845 Hercs are present behind the pylons on the underside of the vehicle. Basically it has "ground effects" installed.
