"Heritage"

This is actally a comic, not a typical fictional piece. It started as a written piece, but I felt like it was so full of important visual elements, particularly with the main "villain," that having it set in words would be inadequate. I was also contemplating on trying to work on a comic online at the time, so this was a nice oppurtunity. I was growing tired of just drawing simple images that may or may not be used/forgotten anyway.

This is a work in progress in that the story is unfinished. I'm not sure how long it will be, although I already have the entire story in mind. The story itself revolves around two Fireborn infantrymen that are sent to Naiad, one of Neptune's moons, as reinforcements to a Cybrid base that has been under investigations for the past year. The base itself was found abandoned, which is an oddity since the time at which it was abandoned was before humanity was even a threat to the outer planets, and there is no sign of a conflict between Metagens and Prometheans. Our two heroes will discover the history behind this place and uncover the source of many mysterious occurences that have affected the sanity of many of the scientists working there.

The images themselves are fairly characteristic of what happens when I'm not drawing a single thing - they're very scribbly and basically fairly messy. But who cares? This is free anyway.
